4. Roca Patron Añejo

Roca Patron Añejo is the fourth most expensive Patron and sells for $85 per bottle; however, it is only available for a short period of time every year. Some bars and liquor stores inflate its price as a result. The tequila is made in very small batches and is aged for 14 months. It is a very potent spirit with an 88 proof rating.

3. Gran Patron Platinum

Ranking as the third most expensive Patron is Gran Patron Platinum, which sells for $195 per bottle. The unique feature of this tequila is that it is distilled a total of three times. This makes it extra smooth and perfect for slow sipping. The bottles are also numbered, making the tequila a collector’s item.

2. Gran Patron Piedra Extra Añejo Tequila

Gran Patron Piedra Extra Añejo Tequila sells for roughly $359, making it the second most expensive Patron. The cost is due primarily to the aging process of the spirit, which requires 36 months from start to finish. Piedra Extra Añejo has a very distinctive flavor with touches of citrus fruit and earthy truffle detectable among its notes.

1. Gran Patron Burdeos

Gran Patron Burdeos is the most expensive variety of Patron, retailing for $495. The tequila is unique because it is aged for at least one year and then distilled a second time and allowed to age further. Real Bordeaux wine barrels are used as a part of the aging process, imparting a distinctive oak flavor to the tequila. The remarkable spirit also treats the palate to the taste of raisins and vanilla.
