The bi-level club packs a fierce 150,000 watt sound system, and lets almost nothing get in the way of that wondrous noise: both the upstairs and the smaller downstairs levels come equipped with little more than stages, disco balls, black-paint, and silly, happy slogans. Almost nightly, the place plays host to a fevered, wonderfully diverse batch of high-energy performers and DJs, whether it’s Q-Tip spinning deep hip hop cuts, the Que Bajo party kicking out the choicest Latin American party jams, or Mr. W.K. himself on the decks or on the mic.
